Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the were Genmab (CO:), which rose 4.85% or 65.0 points to trade at 1405.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:) added 2.54% or 15.0 points to end at 605.5 and DSV (CO:) was up 1.92% or 7.3 points to 388.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nets A/S (CO:), which fell 1.64% or 2.20 points to trade at 132.30 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CO:) declined 1.43% or 4.2 points to end at 290.0 and ISS A/S (CO:) was down 0.87% or 2.40 points to 275.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 50 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.75% or 0.37 to $49.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.73% or 0.38 to hit $52.59 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.46% or 5.75 to trade at $1252.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.32% to 6.6874, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4413.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 97.52.
