Reporting to Endemol Shine Group CEO Sophie Turner Laing, she begins the role in October.
Endemol Shine Group said Monday that it has named former Sky top executive Nicola Bamford CEO, international operations.
Reporting to Endemol Shine Group CEO Sophie Turner Laing, Bamford begins the role in October and will be based in Amsterdam and London. She replaces Martha Brass who left last month to take some time off before moving on to her next challenge after eight years at the company.
As CEO, international operations, Bamford will be responsible for operating companies in China, France, Iberia, India, Italy, Israel and Southeast Asia. COO, international operations Marina Williams will now be reporting to her.
Bamford joins from Sky where she held a series of senior roles, most recently serving as director, international OTT after such posts as director of Sky Store and director, channels and operations at Sky U.K. Prior to joining Sky in 2004, Bamford held the role of vp ventures and business development for the Walt Disney Company.
Operating in more than 20 countries, Endemol Shine Group is the world’s largest independent production group and is known for such shows as Big Brother, Black Mirror, Broadchurch and MasterChef.
